About Custom Covers For Home & Office
Custom Covers for Home & Office operates out of a quaint space in Exeter, Ontario, with a storefront selling, beddings, area rugs, décor, and drapery. Our space is larger than it looks, with a giant back room where the magic happens. We custom craft window finishings, reupholster furniture and repair marine covers, tops, and upholstery. We are also a Hunter Douglas Showroom and Dealers and Certified Installers for the same. Unlike most window treatment companies, we handle home visits and take our business to our clients, installing Hunter Douglas and custom-made window treatments for them.
We have been in business for almost fifteen years and work around Exeter and surrounding areas all the way to London, Sarnia, and Kitchener, Waterloo in Ontario. Although we have established ourselves over the years, we are continuously evolving, keeping up with current trends in home decorating.

We recently added a few new items to our list and began offering marine re-upholstery and repairs. This took us in the trajectory of expanding our clientele indefinitely as we operate in an area close to Lake Huron, where a lot of boaters live or have summer cottages.
Our customer service skills make us second to none. We also take our business to clients’ homes setting us apart from our competitors. We work hard to meet deadlines with our team of down to earth people, willing to meet with clients in the comfort of their own homes. We work with competitive prices and offer hard to find services.
Being a few employees, we make it a point to meet up each week to discuss ways to improve and grow as a team. We also talk about the upcoming week and the challenges of the one gone by.
Personally, I handle sewing, custom-patterning, upholstery, window treatment, and installation, and constantly encourage my team to improve their personal skills as well. We continue learning through training, seminars, and conferences and being a team of five, we can celebrate each other's accomplishments each day.
Our biggest achievement is becoming Centurion Hunter Douglas Dealers, receiving continuous sales volume recognition from our head office.
We have multiple dreams for the future. We wish to continue growing and expanding our craft to meet our clients’ expectations. While also growing our staff to help meet our increasing needs.
As our business is based out of a small town with a tight-knit community, we like to participate in local events occurring throughout the year through promotions or donations. We support local businesses surrounding us as well. We believe if all the businesses surrounding us flourish, we will too. These are the small ways in which we give back to society.
